Everything but ModDB, please. For foreseeable future, I can donate transfer from my business FTP server, available 24/7. The only drawback is that every time you release a new version, there may be slight delay in availability, 'till I upload it. Still, filesharing services could fill the gap, which should be longer than 48 hours (without warning).

You'd just keep using your regular editor and just run the same three git commands every time you want to commit, push or pull updates. It's gotta be way easier than fixing it via some of these reports. X)
Exactly. I considered writing about it some time ago, but thought that I must be missing something and didn't wanted to sound like lecturing Sleeper

Generally, mainstream GNU/Linux git tools should work with github without problems, thus no need for linux version of their program. the latter is only for poor windows users
