Your sure? They look pretty much like geth or some kind of mech, since they're completley white with the big red eye.
Cerberus troopers have a black helmet with orange/black/withe armor and centurions a orange/golden helmet with a armor that looks slightly different, but they actually fit the cerberus guards very well^^

Y u are right. I play Mass Effect again for some ideas how to create some races :). Yeah i am idiot :D. Reason why i create white helmet is if i create black helmet its look like black big dot on the middle :D trust me. For geth u know, geth are little bit poor and have only one big ´´eye´´ camera. There is problem with drones (not anti-personel, boarding or repair) but with defense drone, hull repair drone, laser drone, assault ship drone. I dont know what i do whit them but i have only one idea. Maybe its stupid but there it is. Kodiak - the little fast passanger transporter.

Maybe you colud give the helmet a grey surrounding and this grey stripe in the middle like in the picture and a partly grey body armor?
And for the centurion maybe the orange dot?

I don't know if you're aware (you probably are, considering how people like to point out mistakes), but the dialog for the Zoltan scientist study event still has the names as Zoltan.

there is a mod that may be the answer to the race problems "ftl overdrive" completely remakes the game engine so races and other resources are not hard coded in. making it possible to add new races, ships, event, etc.

I just bought FTL last night and played for 6 hours! (oops) But just when I over played ME3 on xbox (not likely) I happen across this!!! Just from reading the comments this mod looks great!! Now, as a new player I need some help. How do I activate/attach this mod after downloading? Is it the same style as MineCraft? Or easier?

Mantis will be Rachni? I dunno, drell makes a litte more sense to me personally but I guess making them rachni would be easier work.

if possible,
I would love, and probably others, a mod just containing just the races, a mod containing just the ships.

I would even love just current for the races.
