i see everybody has his own figures and ideas and wishes, but i think all got in common that nobody questions the entire combat system, as for me, i think it is brilliant. so brilliant, that it deserves to be embedded inside a greater whole...

A large number of these ideas will be possible to implement as a mod in FTL: Overdrive once I complete it.

Oh? I did not assume somebody was already planning to create such a mod, as most mods were "just" concerning gameplay in a very decent matter (adding new ships, weapons...content stuff)...
