Story: Worked most of his life as a Mercenary. Getting paid by others to do their hard work. A day while working on a Zoltan ship. His commanders and Hirers had been found dead. he was the only survivor of that attack. the ship was leaking and the Life supports would soon be found inactive. Luckly. The enemy ship also had no crew. And escaped the combat with minor damages. Hans boarded it with haste and Flew to the nearest station for repairs.
Years later. He still worked as a Non-Federation Mercenary, Until a day while he was hired to freight Missiles to an planet low on supplies on the midst of the war - He found a Cruiser class sized slug ship. and a Elite rebel just on its tail, they both didnt answer his hails. But he took the decision to take care of the Rebel, One shot was needed. And their weapons where disabled. The slug ship was already heavily damaged and some more shots would had destroyed them.
The crew aboard the ship where some skilled Slug crew and their captain was an Slug ambassador, he greeted him and promised he a promotion on whathever you where, He also gave he direct invite to join the federation - and without any regret or thoughts - Thats what you did

worked as pilot for the carnelian and helped the foundations of the federation when his ship was crippled by pirates he put him self in the only on line stasis pod but because it had a leak he put himself in lock-down. when he was awakened by zoltans 20 years later in the fall of the federation he found the wreckage of his ship and scrapped it it with the help of the mantis for their black market he ended up as a pilot on the red tail
