Yes, I was about to reply to your post to suggest that. Glad you found this

Re: Tutorial Jump Bug?
Just a heads up- I had the same problem here with drivers, etc. The map was blank except for the Exit or any Distress signals- and if I did manage to encounter anything on random clicking on the map, no ships showed up. Also I, too- did not want to faff with driver rollbacks, etc.
I found that changing the CCC options in the profile for FTL to the following worked for me, while the previous suggestions did not (just in case anyone had the same problem.)
Everything --EXCEPT-- Anti-Aliasing on use application settings.
AA: Enhance application settings (Morphological filtering ON, Filter Standard)
Catalyst A.I- High Quality, NO Surface Format Optimisation.
Vertical Refresh: Off unless app specifies.
AA Mode: Performance.
NO Triple buffering.
Tesselation: Use App settings.

Re: Tutorial Jump Bug?
I just signed up to say changing Anti-Aliasing to use application settings fixed the jump bug for me. Don't forget that after you save the settings you want to go to the tab "Application Profiles" and apply them.
