The design of the new weapon is very nice.

Did you find them viable trough the entire playthrough, or was the power drain to high for that? I'm asking because they replaced the dual lasers, and dual laser though cerntainly not bad mainly earn their place sue to the one power cost.The ion laser are also a usefull weapon evem though they are far from overwhelmingly good so maybe the 2 in powercost unnecessary?

I think the power cost should remain 2, because they are quite powerful as they do both ion damage, and have a quick recharge time. I also made a ship that had an Ion Laser pretty similar, but it had the design of the Basic Laser.

A small pirate ship messages you, "That sure is a shiny ship you got there."
FTL Captain's Edition is currently collecting new ship hulls to increase enemy variety. Your ship design fits the concept and is pretty cool. :) I want to ask permission to resize/recolour/modify it and integrate it into CE. Cool?

Nice! I would be honored. Captain's edition is the best place to go to for an expanded but still vanilla feeling FTL experience.

Hokay, I may be slightly insane, but I'm starting up a second FTL Black Box with this as the featured ship. :shock:

Going cold, with no pre-knowledge to draw from.. what could go wrong? :lol:

It's been a fun little ship! The no shields thing is scary! The pre-igniter makes up for that and the quick reload on the ion-lasers really helps. Beam drones are scary town. :o
