After you've selected your starting bonus the mod crashes on AE. Any fix?

Ok, I fixed it myself. There was a problem with
sector_data.xml.append. I compared it to the original file and noticed the devs have updated the file in Advanced Edition. I made the same changes to the modded file and now it seems to work.

Thanks Citronvand for fixing it!
Here's another question : Would it be possible to change the "Visit a junkyard" option of giving you advanced FTL Scanners to just giving you a random augment?
I like the idea of starting with an extra augment, but I don't like always getting the same one.
Would it be possible to change it easily? I don't really know anything about modding and I'm not looking to teach myself.
If someone could change it, then thank you in advance, and if not, thank you all the same.
