I'm using Firefox and the download link brings me to a page full of gibberish. It worked on Internet Explorer. I have no idea what causes it and the broken download page thing looks really freaky.

FIrefox doesn't do a good job of figuring out the default action for a file it's never seen before, so it just opens it like it's a text file.
Instead of left clicking on it, right click on it and select "save file as"
You can rest assured the file is fine. You'll notice that the first 2 characters are "PK" which indicates that it's a PKZip file. FTL files are just renamed pkzip files.

I've added black & yellow borders to the icons to make them better visible against the reddish background. They should be discernible in cluttered rooms too.

This mod should work with the latest version of FTL, unlike other old mods, so I'm not sure.
Were you using the mod with any other mods?

It started working for some reason. I think it just didn't like CE.
