True, the Stealths can be rather RNG-dependent, but each of the vanilla ones has a great offensive setup. As you say so frequently in your videos, they "tip the scales"--that is, they're battle-enders or very efficient disruptors. I've talked about this before.

Originally I was intending the ship to just have the Glaive Beam Artillery. But I like Dual Lasers. Should I give it a second set or replace it with an Advanced Flak? I don't want to give it a Mini Beam or otherwise it's essentially a Nesasio with a free Glaive Beam.

Honestly, I think your best bet is to give it a starting Burst Laser II. Which seems absurd, but it's the only thing I can think of that can reliably deal 2 damage per salvo.

Which makes this cruiser kind of similar to the Federation A, now that I think about it, except with different defensive strategies. The Federation cruisers are about building defenses to wait for the Artillery Beam.

Except the Federation A has shields. And before AE it was unable to even cloak.

I was thinking Advanced Flak but that's not reliable in doing 2 damage per salvo. But I like Advanced Flak. 1 power, 3 shots. Awesome.

I've decided to go with your advice and replace the Dual Laser with a Burst II. Let me know what you think. Re-download the file. I don't do version numbers
