Hey Sleepy, I've been digging around CE, trying to see how you handled the 2 different artillery weapons for the Fed A/B and Fed C. From what I've seen, recognition of the Fed cruisers is based on the arti weapon blueprint name. So all events which Fed specific have the req="ARTILLERY_FED" attribute.
In that case, the Fed C is not recognized as a Fed ship, because it's artillery weapon is named ARTILLERY_FED_C.
It seems to me like this was intentional, since the Fed C has a privateer/pirate theme to it.
I was wondering if you might have tried finding a solution to this problem and if you did - what that solution was.

In that case this was indeed intentional. But you could make a blueprint list that contains both artilleries (or any artillery you want, I assume you need this for the Randtrells) and then check this list instead of the actual artillery ID in events. This way the events would work with all fed artilleries, but the solution would require modifying all events that check for the original fed artillery.

Unless the blueprint list is named ARTILLERY_FED, in which case the events are already good to go.
And since the randtrel mod should be loaded last, I assume the blueprint list name will take precedence over the arti weapon blueprint name.

Yep, that would work. You'd just have to make sure that you assign a new artillery ID to all ships that use ARTILLERY_FED.

A FTL streamer while streaming had an idea when I was talking about old ftl stuff and how the backers got there name into the game and stuff while he was playing Captains Edition and he had an idea that you should put the main contributors to CE name/username into captains edition names list.

Sleeper already did that. ;) But I dont believe he included his own name. :? Please include your own name Sleeper. I want to get a random crew named Sleepy.

The fun thing here is that yesterday, I decided to drop into random CE and vanilla FTL streams, and one person I met said he knew Rave personally, which is where I think this stemmed from as a misinterpretation of words.

One thing that I need to point out though. In one run, he countered the Rock Ramship event and, much to my total confusion and 'this can't be fair'ness, both the surrender terms event and the ship kill event damaged his ship for about 8 hull in total. This is despite having Lv5 Engines and taking the blue option for them in both cases.

A lot of people know me, I'm just one off those kind of people. Back in highschool everyone knew me while I only know 10 people. Which stream were you watching from? Was it by ZipperAdjustable?

That's the guy! Watching that stream, I remembered just how massive the gulf of difficulty difference between Easy and Normal is.

So wait, back to rockman; most people contributed to the mod is in the crew list of names in FTL:CE?

Odd, I find my real name (vanilla) a hundred times more then seeing a R4V3-0N / Raven .-. (which is zero)
