I recommend you read the description below the download:

Powered by rannl software. Optional subaddon for CE infinite. This introduces procedural content generation to FTL and currently adds over 9000 (!) weapon, drone and enemy variants to the game. Details at the end of this post. Install with Slipstream Mod Manager. Requires the EL Texture pack, the Captain's Edition base mod and the CE Infinite Addon. Has to be loaded after Captains Edition and the addon to work. Check the load order template below.


As mentioned, there is a whole section at the end of the first post that explains what Infinite Loot does.

I did. I went through all the processes they listed. Multiple times. I might just have to forget using Endless Loot, as unfortunate as it is.

EDIT: After multiple more attempts, I still get crashes. Time to try BPaB 1.21, I guess.
EDIT2: Even just trying to load FTL Captain's edition, I still crash. I increased Java's heap space to 4 gigs, nothing. Same failure. It just says I run out of heap space when it tries to patch in the endless loot addon. I officially give up. Sorry for wasting your time.
EDIT3: And now Captain's edition works. Alright....this feels weird, but whatever. Thanks for the mod!

Odd. I was just going to point to that part:

Modded game crashes upon starting up:
First make sure you observed the load order shown bellow the download links (you have to drag the mods into the right order within the mod manager window to establish your load order.)
If the crash persist: Reinstall FTL or verify its game data with steam. Delete the content of the /backup folder of the mod manager or delete the entire mod manager end extract it anew (do not override the old mod manager, crashes can be caused by pre AE backup files in SMM that will not be removed this way).
If crashes persist: Read through the last pages of the SMM thread to see if anyone had similar problems and how they got fixed. Sometimes the download is faulty, so re-downloading the mod might also be an option.

In the end, I had to remove all mods, the manager, the game, everything, then re-download it all, without endless loot stuff. I can live with the endless loot, but I REALLY wanted CE, so I'm glad.

Hey, I was playing around with the Infinite Mode but it wasn't really my style. However, when I un-patched it, it allowed the rebels to move at the original pace but it kept all the 'Infinite' prices for upgrades and purchases. Not really sure how to fix :?:

You should try to reinstall your mods again or/and start a new game

If this keeps happening with new games then it might have something to do with a faulty SMM backup I think. Reinstall FTL or verify its game data with steam. Delete the content of the /backup folder of the mod manager or delete the entire mod manager end extract it anew (do not override the old mod manager, SMM backup files will not get removed and the problem might persist this way).

Could you make a version without the detailed crew portraits? The humans look okay, and I like the detailed Mantis, Engi and Slug crew. But the Rocks look weird, the shoulder blades on the Lanius don't look sharp, the Crystals look really bubbly instead of edged, and the Zoltan look too cartoonish.

You can give your feedback in the original mod thread. IMO the images are a great improvement compared to having a regular crew sprite there. If users prefer the vanilla it is in their hands to make a patch for that. I'm fine with the modded crew portraits, so I won't bother.
