While the unpowered O2 was what killed him, what put him in the state where he was ready to die from a puff of smoke was when he fixed the air-free O2 room a few fights earlier. An Engi would have helped fix that up a lot quicker than a Mantis.

Oh, that's what you meant. But even if you had had an Engi, suffocation damage is pretty rapid - would Saren have had enough HP to survive the time it would have taken for you to notice a potential low health warning, power the O2, and for enough O2 to be replenished so suffocation damage stops?

That we will never know. I do know that if Saren's health had been 26 or more when the O2 went out in his room, he'd have survived at least that issue because I'd have heard the alarm. I'm *generally* pretty good with that.

But having a medbay in most other ships has caused me to rely on that alarm to tell me that someone is nearing death. No alarm and I (obviously) don't notice :)

Maybe your Osprey Redemption Run wasn't the most exciting, but it was entertaining to hear the pum-pa-rum-pum-pum of the lasers and then your hearty laugh. :lol:

I dare anyone to not laugh after 9 laser bolts in a row first rip through the shields and then pummel the system to a pulp.

You have 3 shields? You should look again. Looks to me like you have no shields. And a fire control problem.

Interesting (or not, who knows) anecdote:
While building The Potential, I wanted to make the ship as lowly as possible to start so I started the drone bay with only one power. The first battle I had after buying a drone bay and getting a defense drone, I couldn't use it for the obvious reason (I didn't upgrade the bay to 2). I felt like a *FOOL* not for forgetting to upgrade it, but for breaking what was obviously a design tenet in space ships. I fixed the ship immediately and to this day have never set up a drone bay with only one power.

I did make a page, but it removed the inbox from my YouTube, and I couldn't find my PMs anymore. So I reverted (and deleted the G+ page) and decided to join this forum instead, despite only being a viewer and not a player. :?


I don't actually have any comments about the videos right now, other than that I don't like lemonade. :|

The first post here hasn't been updated in some time. It's three ships behind.
