Delete Top Score?

Hi guys! I hope this is the right section of the forum to post my question in.

Following happened: I was having a really good game with the Mantis ship, got extra crew on early, good encounters, scrap started piling in. All went well until in the last sector, instead of selling a healing bomb, I accidentally sold a laser which was more or less the only way of me effectively doing hull damage and I was ultimately unable to beat the boss.

Nevertheless I got my highest score till date, but without that shiny VICTORY text...
Call me obsessive and crazy, but seeing that one on top while all the other scores below it are victory ones, yet inferior, is really bothering me.

So my question is: Can I somehow delete this score, without deleting any other ones? I know about the profile editor, but that doesn't allow score editing. I tried editing the prof.sav in a hex editor but can't seem to get it right, as the game always crashes before displaying the main menu.

Can you guys help me out here? Would really appreciate it!

(TL/DR: How to hex edit prof.sav so that you can just delete your Nr.1 score?)

Hi devor! I'm not aware of an easy way readily available to edit it. I believe some people have mapped out the profile file somewhere on this forum, I'd honestly not even know the hex location myself without digging back through the code and figuring it out again. Sorry about the inconvenience

I've found an explanation of the Profile's structure on the ftlwiki, which I used to help me find the score in the hex editor but I am not able to delete it, without apparently breaking the profile.

I've since found the bit that sets the victory flag, so I could make the score display the victory text, but I don't really want to cheat so I think I'll just have to learn and live with it
