So, I started out the game with a Zoltan B (Noether) on easy, was one of my best runs.
Maxed out my weapon output, was fitted with
Pegasus (My fav weapon <3, 2 missile out of one is pretty sweet)
Pike beam, Ion blast 1, and a Hull laser mark 1.
And it had also 3 shields, full cloak, you know, all the good stuff.
had no problems whatsoever on the first stage of the boss, but the second part is where it got tense.
Managed to do quite some damage until the boss had 2 hull damage left.
2 HULLS, THATS ALL I HAD TO TAKE OUT.
I had the pegasus charging up so, even if I hit 1 missile at him the boss would go down and i could've gone to
the repair bay to get ready for my first victory.
BUT NO, the game wouldn't let me, right when I decided to fire the missile, the power surge activated,
took down my shields and right when i was about to fire, the weapon bay was offline.
And there went my ship and all my dreams and hopes.
*sigh*
I'm gonna go play another round.
God this game is additcive.
