Any specific problem keeping you away form modding ships? I'm sure if you ask someone could help.

I've got what should be a functional, if not refined, mod replacing the Kestrel (including proper weapon mounts in the layout, shields, cloak texture, etc.), and the program boots up just fine but upon starting a new game/tutorial I get a hard crash with no error report. From everything I've seen, even having made mistakes the game shouldn't crash like that, even if the ship is unplayable on a practical level. Not competent enough to go in and figure out what's causing it, but I can certainly contribute with a few pretty pictures for someone else, such as the author of this thread, who knows what they're doing.


EDIT: Nevermind, I'm an idiot. I got it working. Captain_Brian, if you need someone for ships, I can lend a hand.

It's been a month since the last update. Any plans to move ahead with the project? I really dig it, and would love to see it finished.

Hey, any chance you could make a repack that is just skins + text so this is compatible with the infinite universe mod?
