My laptop runs a switchable graphics, and I understand that the game does not support integrated graphics, but I assumed that meant that if I could switch to my high quality card it would work better, but it doesn't.
Is there any fix?
I have the AMD 6770M card as my good one.
Apologies for the lack of information, my knowledge of hardware is fairly limited.
If there is no way for me to fix my issues, is there any chance that I could get a refund, as I bought the game less than an hour ago?
Thanks a ton,
Glanier92

Re: Problems with Switchable Graphics
Sorry about the problem! It should run fine. Have you tried updating your video drivers for the AMD 6770M? If you send me a dxdiag dump to zasdarq@ftlgame.com I can also look into it for you.
If you purchased the game from our website, I can give you a refund immediately (just email me), but if you purchased it from Steam or GOG then you'd have to contact them.
But I wouldn't give up hope on it working just yet

Re: Problems with Switchable Graphics
Have you tried running the game with integrated graphics? The game will not work on all of them, but it's not impossible.
I realise it's probably a dumb question, but just because it says unsupported, it doesnt mean it wont work. It works for me (intel HD4000).
EDIT - GOG has a no refund policy on games that have been downloaded but if you email their support and explain that the game doesn't run on your system even though it technically should, they should give you your money back or offer some replacement. They have refunded purchases in such cases in the past.

UltraMantis is correct that the integrated card *should* be fine, but there's also a lot of issues with video drivers for those cards not properly implementing OpenGL. And we're not the only game suffering for that: http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion ... erformance
