Zoltan Exploit?
it seems that when playing either of the Zoltan ships you can sell the Zoltan Shield for scrap (40) and the game plays as though it is still installed on your ship. You are taking hits, and the green numbers are coming up, and your main shields aren't depleting till you have had 5 points worth of damage. Worth having the extra scrap and/or available slot for another enhancement.

That only works for the duration of your current session. If you save and exit the game at any point, the shield's effects will be gone when you reload.

Um, that still sounds a lot like a bug.

Heh...
I've been known to take advantage of this bug before entering the Final Stand. It will be fixed eventually, I'm sure.
