8-Bit Cruiser (The Explorer) AE (Replaces Kestrel A)

Now introducing the 8-Bit Cruiser! Straight outta' a Federation Captain's (S)NES, unfortunately, trying to convert the cruiser to the real world, heavily dampened it's weaponry's quality, armed with the (non) original cruiser's weaponry, the "Hole Puncher Beam" renamed the "Pixel Beam", and the "Auto-Cannon", renamed the Pixel Laser.

I have an appeal to 16-8 bit games, so, I was dearly inspired to make this ship. and also because i was very, very bored

Criticism is always welcomed!

Update 1:
Toned down the Pixel Beam, lesser breach chance, increased charge-time, and decreased damage to 3.
Fixed grammar issues for the Pixel Laser's description.
The miniship is far-back because of a porting error ;)

This seems rather overpowered. comparison:
Maul Beam (CE):
4 power, 21s charge; 5 damage with 40% breach chance.
Pixel Beam:
2 power, 23s charge; 4 damage with 50% breach chance.

the Pixel Laser is like the Burst Laser II except that it sacrifices 2 seconds and slightly slower projectiles for 1 less power and better effect chances.

anyways, onto some other stuff..
I like the projectiles/beam color and their sound effects. quite cool custom stuff.

also there some spelling and grammar funny business with the Pixel Laser description. I've highlighted the sections; introding should be introducing, and that comma messes with the sentence flow:
"A pixelated laser aboard the Explorer, however, introding 8-bit graphics to this game, messed it up quite a bit."

:edit: also, the miniship image is off center (to the left). if you don't want to change it, you could just say that was a porting error :mrgreen:

Thanks for letting me know about the problems with this ship mod, Pixel Laser's description has been fixed, and the Pixel beam has been toned down.

My personal take on the ship, having played it.

The best way I'd describe this ship is a "hot rod". You could literally just slap cloaking on her, crank up the engine and shields
nice and high, and ride your way to victory with only a bit more than your starting weapons, which are innately OP, both equally capable
of taking down a 2-3 shield ship with relative ease, and together, can take on nearly anything.

You do want to be a little careful of crew placement, as the rooms on this ship are a little oddly placed.

There isn't much strategy in using it besides "Find an additional weapon to add a little more firepower, and stay alive"

It's a run 'n gun ton o' fun. I approve.
