Also I have an idea!
I will post(prob tomorrow) a link to the batch of ship images.
And you guys who are good at recoloring can make sets of those ships.
Like all those images in gray color, and another set of same images in red for example.
Then I will have a set of Human ships, a set of Pirate ones, and a set of Rogue AI ones.
This will help me quite a bit in the last task to finish the 0.4 alpha.

Concept art for warp gates.

Its gates going from 500:500 to all over the map so you dont have to use a super jumpship to get to 0:0 like me, jrb and srul did.
This way everyone will not stay around spawn all the time. You could also add a way to make your own warp gates that only you and your friends can access, but you would have to pay lots of scrap to get them.

Idea: Jump drives or something that instantly teleports you to the sector you want.

I think that would be a bit overpowered, but perhaps there can be Main stations, like the spawn one that can "open a wormwhole" to any other main station sector? a way of quick travel.

And while on the subject of ideas, a 2x1 room that can communicate with the station, if your in the same sector of the station you can use this room to access the shops, and a cargo teleporter will deliver your purchase, if buying a new ship it will be sent into space, or parked in the station garage(name is up to discussion)

Station Garage: a place you can park a ship into, by jumping inside the station. This way there isnt 15 ships clustered around the station making it impossible to fly your person their and back in a timely manner, when the ship is parked all characters inside are booted into the station, and the ship will can be unparked and deployed into space by the captain or an another rank if they exsist(besides crew, maybe a rank higher than crew but not higher than captain)

Hi everybody o/

I just discovered this fabulous project while i searched a FTL-like with multiplayer with friends. I found how to make a ship, but not how to modify it, include other peoples as owner ( just found how to add them as crew ) etc... In few word, i'm testing a lot, but it 's complicate to understand all the gameplay.

Could you tell me if there are guides or tutorials which explain how start, the difference between the modules ( shield mk2 and shield mk 3 : which one should i install in ma ship ? :p ) and what star we should visit to begin our space journey ? :D

( i tried to read this treads, but 76 pages oO it's quite long . but i read the 5 first page who present the game )
