Did you remove the Engi ships flying up to you and giving you 98-130 scrap apiece? I once got 7 of those encounters in one run. :p
Kestrel A,B,C - Engi A,B,C - Stealth A - Zoltan A,B

Mantis board your teleporter. "They definitely can't just teleport us back onto our ship... these fleshy meatsacks are too dumb..."

That's why I stick around Engi-controlled sectors over all others. Less combat, more Scrap. Sure I'll accept your surrender good sir.

Eh, I am not keen on surrenders. Usually, you get more scrap off their dead corpses. I only accept surrender if

a. They are offering a resource I need (missile, fuel, drone)

b. They are offering a half-decent weapon or one that is on my shopping list

c. they are offering a good augment that I don't already have

I'm talking about that Engi ship that pops up and says "Uh-oh! Pirates! Please don't hurt us! We surrender!"
Essentially it's free scrap if you don't tell them of your good intentions.

100% chance for a decent reward (if you accept their offer) or a 50% chance for a decent reward (which may or may not be slightly higher)

Meh, I got my hands on a campaign mod that allows me to attack them if I don't like their resource transfer... so I wind up leaving half-broken Engi ships in my wake every run.

Zoltan sectors are almost as good... you blast some pirates and Mantis, and they hand you decent lumps of scrap.

Sleeper Service, are you aware that Vanilla Player Loadouts fail to revert some (or rather all, I assume) of the room/door changes? In particular, possibly not limited to, airlocks on Red-Tail, a room north of the weapons on the Vortex, an additional airlock room on Simo-H.

Also, just by the way, is the (CE) Torus designed to be terrible?

Yep, those changes are related to player artillery, which is still made available with the vanilla loadout addon.

Yep, it's pretty garbage in combat, although it gets a economy boost when making proper use of quarantine sectors. It's very much designed to be played as a medevac.

Oh, ok, thanks. It feels like Engi A practically switched places with Engi B now. Worse, really.

So, I'm unsure if this is my own problem or if the mediafire links are actually broken, but I can't seem to get the files to download. Clicking 'Download' basically does nothing but reload the page. I haven't seen anyone else complain about this, but it really sucks for me. Some confirmation would be nice though, yeah?

Main CE link works fine..

Try a different browser, or right click>save as, or a download manager of some sort.
