Mobile Slow down warning

When I start up the game on my iPad I get a message that says "FTL may slow down your iPad" and all I can do is press "ok" . I don't assume it's anything to serious , I can still play the game and it runs fine, my only concern is what that message means and if anyone will do anything to fix it.

Nooo?
I have ios10 and have been getting this alert for a good while now, and only recently found this forum and joined it...
