FTL may not work with future versions of iOS

Hi, devs!

FTL is my favorite game on my iPad. But according the warning from iOS 10.3 beta: 32-bit apps "will not work with future versions of iOS," suggesting that iOS 11 could be the first software update to support 64-bit apps only. Any plan to update the iOS FTL to 64-bit ?

Hello! The iOS version of FTL will definitely be updated to 64-bit before the iOS 11 update.

Great to hear FTL is your favorite iPad game :)

Thanks for reply! I'm really happy to hear this. Btw, any chance for fixing the no sound bug and the bombs targeting bug on iPad? I have the latest version (1.5.13) on my iPad and also met the same bugs mentioned in following topics.

We've had zero way to reproduce the sound bug, making it extremely difficult to track down. If you have a method to reproduce it, I would be very grateful.

I'll look into the bombs targetting one, I thought we had fixed any bomb targeting related bugs already :(

No sound bug is weird. It happened after I opened some specific apps like Crowntaker (another roguelike game), if sound disappeared it will not appear again whatever I do before I force close it and use following odd way to solve the problem:
The bug disappeared after I opened some specific apps like AVPlayer (video player), just open and force close it, then open FTL, the sound will appear. The sound will not disappear again before you force close it and opened some specific apps.

About the second bombs targeting bug:
I pause the game, choose one of my crew and click another room of my own ship, then I cancel a bomb by clicking on empty space below my own ship, the bomb actually targets a room which I plan send the crew to. I think the problem is the game treat bombs as my crew.

No sound bug there is in PC version too.

Hi There,

I specifically registered to post here.
1, thanks for planning to patch this! This is all I use my ipad for now.

2, for the love of all things holy, PLEASE FIX "boarding objective successful" on ipad. As stated elsewhere on the web, it's just plain broken.
Some solutions I've seen:

"Make sure the boarding drone is deployed and onboard, before you teleport over, if you're going to weaken them by fists first" (this doesn't solve the problem)

"Be sure to kill FIVE, not FOUR enemies" (this is what I'm now aiming for and what I suspect the source of the bug is)

I've definitely had my drone kill 4 enemies at least 4 times now, still no achievement. It's killing me here.
