FTL Version 1.02.5 Live [YET ANOTHER UPDATE]
Re: FTL Version 1.02.5 Live [YET ANOTHER UPDATE]
I think they are using a different versioning system than I am (and I have no idea why). Once you install it and run it, just check the bottom right corner of the main menu. It'll say the official version number there, which should be 1.02.6 now.

Yeah, I turned it back off to. It's much more tense and fun without it.

Humble is still on 1.02.5.
Re: FTL Beta Patch on Steam
Matthew wrote:Steam provides the benefit for being able to quickly push updates / revert updates on the fly seemlessly. Since we're such a small development team with limited testing capabilities, that's a pretty invaluable tool to let us put out a patch that might potentially have some issues before sending everyone to download it. We'll be updating the builds you downloaded from the website sometime early next week if all is well with the changes, and we'll also update the GOG build who I believe have their own patching system. Sorry for the delay and inconvenience.
I think this is a good argument in favour if the steam release leading GoG/other Non-DRM releases initially. As long and broad as FTL's beta base was, it's still tiny compared to your post-release install base and it gives you that last-ditch ability to patch before the non-DRM downloads come out.

Yay!
1.02.7 availability on Humble yet?
also; GOG, but no Desura?

HA,
Humble Store now shows that FTL's been updated, however the Linux version still read's 1.02.5.
I DL'd it to see if it was just misfilenamed, but no, running the game (from a virgin install) reveals the version is indeed 1.02.5
the mac dl seems to be 1.02.6, so that's cool.
no 1.02.7 yet.. i wonder if i misunderstand the versioning?
