Subset Games Forum

When I start the game it starts loading and when the game is done loading it says " This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way" I have deleted the game and redownloaded it. I have also verifyed the game cache. I am running windows 7. Any suggestions? Thank you for your time

You do know that this is a forum where old topics are not deleted and by posting in a two year old topic, you're bumping it up?

I know nothing, good sir. It was only my second post, and both related to the exact same crashing issue I had. I was scouring the forums for a solution. Mercifully after many hours struggle and tackling the problem in a various number of unsuccessful ways I finally fixed it on my own. The solution was pretty /facepalm worthy. Uninstalling, reinstalling wasn't working -- deleting everything related to FTL was the solution, which I thought I had tried but a couple miscellaneous files kept getting by I found out. Needed to view hidden files, and literally scour my C drive, found some FTL stuff in C:user/me/appdata/roaming -- after I was able to put every file to the sword I reinstalled and this time it worked!

This is still a relevant issue , as I used to get this error , do not know how I fixed it , though , so I cant help...
