Violet and Marcella were escorting themselves back to the medbay when Violet pulled out what seemed to be a phone. Her face filled with panic and she tapped Marcella on the back and showed her the phone. She would also have a face of horror if she had a face, rather her face just got a lot brighter.
“I have an important call,” Violet claimed, “I'll be a while.” she went to the corned of the room and waited for Gyldi to leave before taking the call.

Koneg's status hasn't changed, he was still rambling on. "K-kes-trel? Clone m-machine? Rift Drive p-project?" Koneg all the sudden went into a panic state "Lanius boarding party!" he pulled out his laser cutter but his hand was shaking, then dropped it. He sat back down and put his hands on 'head' "I-I-. L-lanius?" The Ions at this point were messing with his memory banks, he started to speak in a chain of 0's and 1's.

Garnarg grabbed a notepad to record what he was saying, partly to find out who he is but mostly in case he says something important.

Garnarg didn't flinch when he put up the laser cutter, mainly because he read his mind and realised he had no intention to shoot. "Please, you're not gonna fire that." He was correct, but his condition seemed to worsen. 'How do I soothe an engi?' Garnarg mulled it over for a bit before he had an idea. "The Lanius are gone Koneg, no need to panic." He hoped this would stop him doing more of what he just did.

Koneg calmed himself upon hearing that information but was still on edge “I- o-ok...” Koneg picked his last cutter back but walked over to a small table and started to do something to it despite his current state. When we was finished he had turned it into a handheld Ion Stunner. “I m-made it t-to reduce r-risk injuries t-to others...” he sat back down on a bench this time resting his arms in his knees and went back to his inconsistent murmuring of 0s and 1s... (Ion Still infecting him)

Garnarg picked up the stunner. “Huh, never seen these in a while.” he muttered. The fire fighter drone noisily rolled by the hallway outside the medbay. Garnarg peeked outside to look, seeing the burnt metal on its back. He looked back at the engi, back to uttering a string of binary.

Koneg took his stunner back and put in where his laser cutter used to be. “P-project XM81. U-uses XM409 o-or XM657E3. H-housed I-in XM551 T-Test Bed (not a actually bed).” He sat down and went back to the binary but was experiencing some sort of PTSD from the Ions.

"Ok. Let's debug your system." Gyldi muttered as she sped through Koneg's (A?)I. Jyalen seeped in next to Gyldi. "Hey. Can I have a look?" "Sure. Just remember Koneg might not react as Emily did." Gyldi was wondering why Violet and Marcella were looking for a clone bay where the nearest one had jumped away about half an hour ago. Maybe time to get the mind device out again.

Violet stayed in the other room while Marcella went back to the medbay, staying to the corner as to not intrude.
“Let me fill you in,” Garnarg started, handing her the notepad of what Koneg was saying, “He seems to be experiencing a PTSD from some sort of Lanius boarding event. I managed to calm him down about that, he might be in a delusion. Koneg also turned a laser cutter into an ion stunning device.” Garnarg pointed to the device, which Koneg was holding. “Some of the information is still classified from him, 19% I think? He also keeps saying 0s and 1s for some reason. And something about Project XN something, with two uses and housed in a place with a similar name.”

"Thank you." Gyldi said, still working through Koneg's code. "I think he's reciting the binary of his locked out bit."

Lanius ships often have clone bays. What I meant was that the Lanius ship that was attacking us probably jumped away by now. And in universe, half an hour to an hour seems like the right amount. We've only been here for a few hours of things happening to me.

Koneg’s screen started to fade from a yellow to a blue as the Ions exited his system “G-graditude. Rest of XM81 information project blocked. Rift Drive information blocked.” Koneg saw the Lanius appear and tensed up a bit thinking ‘Lanius. M-melt Engi?’ And pulled his arm back towards himself...
