Accepted! Selling your former crew? That's pretty scary!
Are you hire-able, with us immediately, or against us?
Also, this can be determined on the ship. I'll list off ranks.

Name: Sp
Race: Zoltan
Occupation: FTL drive operator
Skills: Advanced experience in FTL drive systems, Immune to mind control, doesn't require food.
Weak points: Very weak close quarter combatant.
Enjoys: Staying in the FTL drive room.
Dislikes: Leaving the FTL drive room.
Secrets (Optional): Unknown origin. Could actually be a figment of your imagination...
Appearance: Glowing, colors shifting from Green to Yellow, While in hyperspace color changes to Orange.
Rank: Unknown
Age: Unknown

Sp was found inside the FTL drive room, after the drive malfunctioned during the last jump.
No one knows ho he got there, surveillance cameras show no signs of this person entering the ship.
During the FTL drive malfunction, the surveillance footage was corrupted.
Sp doesn't communicate much, answers questions, does all the needed work related to the FTL drive.
Prefers staying in the FTL drive room, and taking care of the drive.
Almost seems that he somehow relates him self to the FTL drive.

(If possible)
Can do fast repairs in the FTL drive room.
Has issues repairing anything else.

"So! I have a set of disposable crew for a mission that won't work and get me killed and lose you the war. Great! I'm *HONORED.*
"Look," Said the commander, "It's our only chance. You have everything you had before, except your life on the line too. There's no going back- you're uploaded to the ship's core."
"Oh. That's better. I'm slave locked and bound to a fate I don't care about. You realize I don't feel empathy for myself? I don't care if I die. Hell, the man in the suit could come and tell me to 'Come with him, it's time to go' and I wouldn't care!"
"...What?"
"Tell me if you ever find a door to a fifth dimension, alright?"
"Okay then. I just got back from the base, the crew are on their way."
"When will they arrive?"
"In one minute."
"You're sure you couldn't make another save of me?"
"Yes."
"You're really ignorant."
"They're here."
"Alright. Kill the comms."
"Goodbye, Quintet."
"Somewhere... Over the rainbows!"
"Are you on my computer?! Why can't I-"

".. I wonder if they ever learned about Norton."
"Quintet. The airlocks are shut." The voices came from outside the ship.
"You sure you don't want to run while you can? I can throw myself in as a dummy and you can disappear. 100% survival rate."
"Open the airlock."
The airlocks slid open, a group of crew outside the door.
"First tip: Don't go in the FTL drive room."

"What is it?"

"It's a job"

"This sounds more like a death sentence to me. They've already saved their precious federation. What else do they want?"

"Like I said, there's still some organized rebels that need to be... taken care of."

"What are they paying?"

"I want to remind you, Kr, that if the federation falls, you'll be busy fighting pirates and rebels instead of getting paid. They want to discuss pay when they reach the station."

"Tell them I'll consider thinking about it. Now leave glow stick!"

The zoltan walks away from the table unfazed, this type of behavior was normal for Kr, maybe this longer mission would teach him that other people were not just sources of scrap.

Tabitha Mia woke up in her quarters on the station with a yawn. It was not a very pleasant night for her. Too many memories of that day she escaped her home planet to join the Federation.
She quickly got changed into her uniform before grabbing a datapad and her equipment and headed out for the ship.
"Right, don't be nervous. Just walk in and take your seat at the helm" she muttered, going over the figures on the datapad to make sure everything was in order.

As she approached the airlock leading to the ship, she noticed a wide mix of various crew. Although there seemed to be quite a few Mantis as well. "Ensign Tabi..." she started to introduce herself when the computer system informed her not to go into the engine room. "Well, so much for introductions" she remarked "Any reason why we shouldn't enter the engine room? Is there some sort of secret hyperdrive low-ranking officers are not supposed to see?"

Sp approached the FTL drive.
- Hello.
- How are you today?
His glow color changed to yellow.
- What?
- Oh no! No no no.
- Too much yellow. Too much.
- Yes, too much.
- This won't do.
Sp put his hands on the FTL drive surface and closed his eyes.
His hands started to glow brighter, almost changing to bright white.
...
In a minute or so, the glow quickly faded, and Sp's color turned green.
He opened his eyes.
- Green... Yes, that's more like it.
- Now we are ready.

"I'm in, I've always preferred the federation over those alienating rebel scum."
Arkangel hurredly gathered all his equipment and headed for the docked federation cruiser. There were a few others with him; a blue skinned human who claimes to be an excellent chef and a few mantis. Upon hearing the shipboard computer tell the crew not to go into the FTL drive room and the human speculating some kind of secret hyperdrive he spoke up.
"To answer your speculations, I don't think so. This cruiser isn't so much different from the others around here," he told her. "There might be a fault with it, I'm not sure..." He heard a voice from the FTL drive room. “Green... Yellow... too much... we are ready."
Arkangel thought about it for a second, and informed the crew "I think it's best to follow the computer's advice, let's just say."
I do random stuff and surf on the fourms. That's about it.
