"I'm going to go sleep now. Between the fighting and the pointless arguing, I am very tired." Slava prepares a bed in the shields room and falls asleep quickly.

"I'm staying up... sleep is a liability."

The datapad blinks as Interceptor finally unlocks it. "Finally! Alright, let's see what's in here..." He starts to search through the files for anything useful.

"Sweet, let's figure this out."

Seeing that the data was downloaded to the AI, Translator grabbed the datapads and began absorbing the components for himself.

"Hang on a second, these are search orders... the Rebels are looking for an advanced AI core for some sort of massive project" he said "Something about a superweapon that'll change the war in their favour."
He put a claw to the bottom of his head "The drop-off point is at a shipyard several jumps away. Top secret stuff that even they don't know about. Not even the project name."

He clicked his claws together. "We should check it out... the Federation might want to know what the Rebels are planning."

I was thinking it's the intel that's vital to the Federation but why would a group of random soldiers have it?

Interceptor was surprised at what the datapads had contained. Searching for an advanced AI core for a superweapon? That was certainly not what he expected.

"How bout we give em Interceptor? Maybe then they'll leave us alone."

"W-wait, what?!" Interceptor practically yelled. "Of course not! They're making a superweapon, we can't let that happen!"

"Can't we?"
