An epic end to an epic battle [spoilers]

In an astounding feat of strategy and sheer willpower, the Federation Fleet, led by Admiral Tully, routed the Rebel forces today. The remainder of the rebels are said to have scattered, and are unlikely to pose any serious threat to the Federation in the future.

Triumph against such seemingly unsurmountable odds can however only come at great cost. Victory would not have been possible had it not been for the valiant efforts of the Engi spaceship known as "The Torus" and her crew, who, after fleeing from the rebel fleet through eight sectors, gave their lives to destroy the rebel flagship. May we never forget them, who made the ultimate sacrifice for our safety:
