Ok, this is definitely happening.
I've talked it over with some friends and they said it was a neat idea...
I'm gonna start this somewhere around or after this years' Eurogamer Expo cause I need to speak with TB first (it was his original idea...).
The name and type of the ship is still up for discussion, I'm actually thinking of just keeping the original name of the type we choose...

Here's how I'm seeing making this:

The series is gonna start with the first Sector 1 and maybe the next several sectors from the same playthrough, so as to establish a character background.
However, it's not gonna be a saga of the adventures of the ship from Sector 1 till the Last Stand, cause that'd be pretty brief... Though that can be the first season.
The rest is gonna be choice sectors throughout multiple playthroughts, depending on encounters.
Each episode is gonna be of one entire sector.


Here's the definite crew:
Their importance is paramount. Should they die, the entire series ends (or gets reincarnated from scratch).

Captain Ban-Anad D'ealari
Weapons Specialist Draxter
Cheif Engineer Scoot




I'm going to upload the videos on my, or perhaps a specialized YouTube channel (to be disclosed at the start of the series).
The narration is going to be done by me and perhaps some friends (you can apply as well, should you wish) willing to help...

Need suggestions for ship type and name! Engi and Stealth cruisers are out of the lists cause they're not as aesthetically pleasing (I just don't see them in a TV series as the main ship...).


To the awesome Devs: First- this forum really needs polls. You guys get the ultimate say on this, needless to say. It's your product after all.

Also- A request to the superbly awesome Devs... I've employed the help of a friend of mine to make the logo for the opening sequence of the mini-series and we need a 2/3 profile shot of the ship to be used (which is still under discussion).Would it be too much to ask?

It's been decided. The ship is gonna be the Kestrel, as it is the 'face' of the game!
My guy is also done with the main title of the intro!

Probably mine own channel, but I might dedicate a channel for it...
Currently, this isn't 'on' anything but a piece of cyber-paper as I'm aiming the pilot episode at somewhere early October...

Right now, I have only Layout A unlocked, so probably that... But we'll see... There's lots of time till October...
