Ancient Ancestors Of The Rockmen (Found one!)?
Well, my crew was investigating a ruined ship and they found some kind of pot full of crystals, so I took it with me back to the ship. Then I stumped upon a research team and made them analyze it, cause they was kind of broken. Then the crystals gathered together and I got this, he also gave me a quest to go to a worm hole. Anyone else tried this?

Yeah, I got one, his quest gives you the unknown cruiser, but you need massive luck, as you need to get the pod, get it open, get to the rock homeworlds then go to the unknown area.
Personal fleet: Kestrel A & B, Engi A&B, Stealth A, Mantis A&B, Federation A&B, Slug A, Rock A, Zoltan A&B and Unidentified A.

Known since ages ^^ Good luck trying to unlock the 9th ship, it's a matter of annoying luck.
Btw, Crystal's are EXCELLENT boarders. due to their 125 health, they can win 1on1's against anything but mantis and rocks. Using their lockdown, they can ensure a fight STAYS a 1on1. And you can even use them against auto-drones (well, bettern then rocks, that is).
