Ok, so I've been playing a while (haven't won yet, but eh...).

One thing I cannot figure out is exactly HOW to use the teleporters. I know about upgrading them, powering, etc. But the actual "How to send boarders to the enemy ship" is something I just don't see.

I'm sure it's just a simple little thing I'm missing. I feel stupid asking, but more stupid if I didn't! Any help?

There are multiple threads on this. Take this one right under yours for example:

The general idea is to take what you know from fighting boarders off your own ship and use it against them.

So pick your battles carefully and make sure to press your advantage when you have one.
