Crew Dies after Blowing Up Ship?

Hey guys, I'm trying to conserve my drones so I've been teleporting onto enemy ships and damaging their systems with my shock team. Now I'm at an automated ship (no crew) with only one health point left and I'm wondering: If I destroy one more component and blow up the ship with my shock trooper on board, will it kill him?

yes it will but if its a bot then you dont have to worry as long as you have drone parts because creating aka summoning a drone costs 1 part and it doesnt use drone parts again unless it get's destroyed
