Rock Cruiser B help?

Okay, I'm trying to get the Layout B for the rock cruiser. I've gotten the defense drone achievement on Layout A, however, I can't seem to unlock the fire-related achievement. Even when I fire off a fire bomb/beam so the enemy crew will be killed before they can flee, I don't get the achievement. Even when I'm fighting Rockmen, who can't be killed by the fire damage, just my boarders, I don't get the achievement. What am I doing wrong?

You have to board their ship and kill an enemy in close combat while they're burning. Somewhat tough, as they can flee, so try setting the next room on fire - and pick an area of the ship where they don't have multiple rooms to run to.

I actually got Ancestry before this one.

Yeah, I've been boarding. Even when they don't flee, and even when they're rockmen, meaning that it HAS to be my rockmen, and not the fire, getting the last hit, I don't get the achievement.

Well, don't burn them so fast. Them's the breaks. Hopefully one of these times your Rock will get in a killing blow.

You can't get the achievement while fighting rockmen, as rockmen don't burn.

You have to be fighting people who are taking burn damage and kill them. Just keep boarding and burning and you'll get it in no time.

Actually, since the enemy always flees the room if they are at low health and in fire, I only found one way to get the achievement.

Get to the boss.
Firebomb the Missile room (or any other weapons room, though the Missile Room is the most important to shut down). Teleport Rockmen.
Achievement unlocked unless the burn damage kills him.

If this happens, simply try again with one of the other three weapons rooms.
