I used an installer and got things taken care of. Or at least I tricked Arma into showing @DayZ on the main screen. Now I can't get any blasted games to show up when I go to find them.

Have you tried filtering the games list with DayZ?

In the server list, hit the filter button and enter DayZ in the first field.

Games are showing up now that I'm home. I can't help but wonder if there are ports I need to open on my apartment router for the game. Still can't get in though. There are only 3 servers up and they were in an excess of 200 ping-wise. I also got an error about a weapons folder. I'm going to research it some I suppose.

EDIT: Using the Six-Updater interface seems to have found me a ton of servers. We'll see if it will let me play or not.

I'll be back in the states sometime later this year. We should get some forum people together to play games like this. I'll get a vent server or something.

I'd be game for it. DiG has a public TS3 server we may could use.

This sounds fun. What is the total investment to get it going? (Game plus expansion?)

ARMA has a free version you can use, but the expansion will run you $20 or so depending where you get it.
