I'm curious as to how the word's getting around for the game. I'm dabbling in marketing, so this kind of thing interests me. Being a MIS major, I also tend to get overly excited an new Ubuntu distributions; I live a strange life.
Personally, I came across the below Kotaku article, reprinted from RPS, and got in on the Kickstarter.

I haven't seem much buzz about it anywhere else though. I do know that there are a few other fans of it on /v/ (terrible site, but good for finding indie games), but there hasn't been much talk about it lately. Where did you come across the game?
Where did you hear about FTL?

RockPaperShotgun had the article that drew me in. In fact, here it is: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/02/28/beaming-ftl-is-the-star-trek-game-ive-always-wanted/

Same here. After reading that, seeing the response on Kickstarter probably got me even more interested.Chief wrote:RockPaperShotgun had the article that drew me in. In fact, here it is: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/02/28/beaming-ftl-is-the-star-trek-game-ive-always-wanted/
On the point of marketing, though ... the game has to interest me for any of that to matter.
