Booyakasha! Now that is what I'm talking about. I did have to laugh that we've heard nothing until an unassuming post that pretty much says "Oh, by the way the beta starts in two days"

Awesome news! I'll post my question here, as well as on the Kickstarter update:

Will we be allowed to post gameplay footage on youtube during the beta period? If not, that's cool, but I've been toying with the idea of starting a channel, and figured this would be a good game to include as I get started. :)

EDIT:

Oops! I should read the full thread before I post. My bad. And awesome. I'll plan on making this one of the first games I do a video on then. (I'm also going to be playing Escape Velocity, for anyone who happens to know about that old game. :)

Thanks for the link! I wasn't aware they had updated the site.

That's great news about the Beta starting soon. Great work!

I have a suggestion. It would be a good idea to make a dedicated forum for bug reports. That way it is in a centralized place and people will be less likely to duplicate bug reports. Maybe even consider publishing some bug report guidelines. I'm in software development and I know how annoying bug reports can be if not handled properly.

Looking forward to the beta!

It was included in the first kickstarter email - the one which apparently bugged out, hence some people might not have received it. Don't think it was mentioned elsewhere.

I'm thinking they might need to space out sending the e-mails, or coordinate with their ISP/hosting service. 3k+ e-mails sent at once from one mail server might raise some red flags. :)
