[SUGGESTION] Moar ninja skillz?

Why not have skills for the other ship systems / subsystems? Or at least some of them?

It feels pretty epic to have awesome guys manning your shields, weaponry and engine, and an ace pilot.

Why not have badass drone admins, stealth operations specialists, or medics? Maybe even a surveillance guy.

It'd give more choices in crew stations and make crewmembers more characterful.

I would agree, for drones at the very least.

Good idea, because if u don't have a teleporter, then most of your crew are just standing around doing nothing while everybody else blows shit up. :|

I know that having spare crew memebrs is a good thing, because they can fix and fight, but have a few more skills for the other systems would be nice.

And have Mr O'Brien manning the teleporter station : D
hmm, it would be possible to have teleporter skill: you move the guy inside teleporter when it's locked down, and the operator makes it cool down bit faster.
Too difficult, would probably collide with ion damage.
