MFK...

Must. Find. Kandy.

Its the whole reason this rebellion started. When the federation imposed severe Kandy rationing, there was a massive outcry from the population. Months of protests and unrest followed, and for a while there was talk of rebellion, and a split formed within the military and the government alike.
The government insisted that the Kandy rationing was necessary, that supplies were dangerously low.
The people wouldn't listen. The rebels wouldn't listen.
And then War broke out.

And what is Kandy?? Its like unobtainum, but for food. You sprinkle it on food and it makes everything taste of candy. Its pretty amazing. You can also add it to warp cores to add 10% dodge (all the automated rebel drones use it). Its... got very specific uses.
Its also made from crystal people. They don't know that.

...
...
... Yeah I have no idea what MFK stands for :D

In any case, the K makes me doubt it's Latin or any latin-descending language.

I just noticed this last night. Seems you guys aren't doing any better than me in figuring it out. D= The idea that it's maybe a different language seems reasonable (or a completely random selection of initials).

Maybe...Mighty Federation Killer?

That was my first thought. Might have been prompted by being hit by that initial missile barrage...

I'm familiar with the game MDK, but I see no possible relation to that game and the rebels in this game.

There is also an acronym on the quarantine event, which says, if you haven't seen it before, 'Warning! Quarantine level 5 in effect under FHA act 22, article 11.2. Warning! Quarantine level..."

Is the FHA the federation acronym?

I hate to necro, but has anyone come up with a better acronym? I've always thought it had a deep meaning (in latin, of course), as some sort of motto.

Like the USMC's Semper Fi meaning Always Loyal.
