creating mods

so, im new to this forum and i would like to help create and make my own mods so, (i feel like a nub) how would i go about doing that?

Start with making a ship using Superluminal.
Then you figure out how to tweak it in the code, compare it to how others did their ships and eventually you've got a mod.

I've created Type C Hulls for the enemy Mantis, Slug, Rock, and Zoltan ships, and anyone can use these for a mod.

so just an idea im thinking of a weapon called air strike wich is a bomb that calls in some missiles (just an idea) could i make that or would it not work?

I'm not a big fan of the Bulwark.
But I recommend you try a design out, see if it works and go from there.

This is an empty text document. Are you sure you selected the right file?

...unless you mean to say you have no ship whatsoever but I doubt that's the case.

It's probably worth creating a new post and putting this in the Mod Development subforum, as it doesn't quite belong in the Discussion forum as well as the fact that you can get some feedback from fellow modders that browse that forum more than the others.
