Should Burst Lazer 1 have a shorter cooldown than Dual Lazer

Just thinking but a burst Lazer is technically costs more than a dual laser. I think it should have a 9 cooldown instead of an 11. Not much better than a dual laser but still better.

I though about this when I picked up a burst laser and compared it with the dual laser I already had. It was really weird to realize that dual laser was pretty much better in every way possible than burst laser. Unless you're selling.

This has been discussed before. The reason as I understand it was for ship balancing. Duel Lasers as well as Mini Beams and other unique weapons (not available in stores) are specced out to play balance the ships they are on. Since they are not available in stores, the actual costs matter very little besides the scrap one gets from selling them.

Yeah the low cost for the dual laser is actually a (and the only) detriment, because if you DO sell it, it's not going to net you very much.
