Suggestion: Adjust Crew Acquisition
After having nearly a couple hundred hours in FTL, one thing I've noticed is that pretty much any boarding party run gets you far more crew than you can use, and non-teleporter runs frequently result in a tremendous crew deficit. It feels like I average 6-12 new crew member opportunities every time I do crew teleporter and only 1-4 when I don't. While I can understand this to some extent from an RP perspective it causes balance issues in actual gameplay and feels like it could use adjustments. A couple extra crew opportunities on average plus all the other existing perks is more than enough to encourage crew teleporter use without making it feel compulsory.

I wish I was able to choose the slave on those events. I mean, I have mercy, then they offer me a slave to be freed and join my crew. And I can't even choose? "Hey, you, yeah, you Mantis over there. Get aboard!"
