What's not to like about instant charge?

Well I like it of course if I get one for free or somehow have enough scraps to buy it and there's nothing else to spent on. But trying to intentionally saving scraps in the hope of buying one in the shop is nothing short of self-mortification IMO...

I also prefer quick firing weapon (+strong defensive wall for my ship), so I can already do that even without the ignitor for the most part.

The Vindicator isnt even in the game, its a mod.

Quick firing weapons are nice, but unless you have a pre-igniter, the enemy will almost always get off the first shot. With it you can often take out their weapons and finish the fight with no damage at all.
