Hi!
I think I found a bug on how GoG Galaxy compares save games on both FTL and Into The Breach.
I'm sorry if this has already been reported.
The problem occurs when the client has to compare two saves, and one of them is the most recent but doesn't have a game associated. In that case, it doesn't download the most recent save.
Here are the steps to reproduce the bug:
1- Start a new game in System A.
2- Play for a while (but don't lose the game).
3- Close the aplication on System A. (It will upload the save from System A to the cloud)
4- Start the aplication on System B (it downloads the save from System A).
5- Lose the game.
6- Do not start a new game and close the aplication. The client uploads the save from system B.
7- Start the game again on system A. You'll see that the client doesn't download the save from system B and continues from the Save created on step 3.
In order to fix this, I had to always start a new game before closing the aplication.
Hope this helps.
Gustavo

How strange, have you mentioned this to GOG as well?

It's a bit strange, it took me a while to isolate the bug.
I haven't reported this to GoG, I thought Cloud Saving compatibility was supported by Subset. I'll try to report it on their website.
Thank you!

Re: GoG Cloud save bug - FTL and Into the Breach
FYI, here's the answer I got from GOG Support:
Thank you for writing, we are aware of this issue, it is caused by the way the game handles saves, after you end a run the save file gets deleted. There is nothing to upload on the second computer and it takes up to 24 hours for the file to be removed from the cloud, so trying to play on the other computer before the file is removed from the cloud results in it being still available on the first computer.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
