Into the Breach allows me to continue won game

After two different wins (with different squads), when opening the game later I was presented the option to "Continue", despite the fact that I should not have had this option. Loading the continue put me back in my old game before the win. I can't remember where the save started the first time (I think in the final mission), but the 2nd was on the island selection screen where I could pick either another Corporate Island or the final mission. This was in version 1.0.20 for GoG.

Edit: I realized I had actually started a game after winning the 2nd time but had abandoned the timeline, so I edited out that I just quit without starting a new game after winning. I zipped all my profile files before starting a new game if those are needed.
