[Suggestion] "Counter-operative" multiplayer mode

Hi guys,
I was thinking about a mode where a second player would control the Vek's efforts.
In addition to control movements and plan attacks, the Vek player could choose to spawn which units and where, out of a given pool for the current mission. I.e. does he spawn his Alpha Vek / one of his 2 Scorpions / his Psion right of the bat, or will he wait for a later turn? Maybe even choosing the type of units and bosses for the different maps at the start of a game.
Could this be a possibilty for a DLC / Advanced Edition update?
I must admit that I'm a sucker for playing turn-based hot seat games against myself especially, so local multiplayer would suffice for me ^_^ The implementation for online play would probably be too much effort for such kind of a game mode.
