Stylesrj's FTL Runs

Postby stylesrj » Fri Jan 09, 2015 9:47 pm

I've decided I should make a single topic here in the Videos section that showcases all of my FTL runs.

http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBQt3VAO7DPZIpEAnj2qzv79HmwCVAbMp (First Edition)
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBQt3VAO7DPZyugTbiqWf7Oj6uP7m0xpB (Charlie Hive Edition)
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBQt3VAO7DPaCAC1YrVsvU2YVmNT9OrW4 (Blue Shift Edition)
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBQt3VAO7DPZsxZC3TvzyXT_8gCNB2C_o (Guns Blazing Edition)

Watch as I... ummm competently go through several ships, lose a few of them and tip the scales to the Federation's benefit.

Latest Video:
Arsenal+ with the Shrike (Part 1)

Previous Videos:
Check the playlist and take your pick. They all should be there.

I've decided to stagger my updates as a sort of a practice for my next FTL project: Captain's Log, Stardate... whatever.

Anyway what it means is that I've done a randomised ship run using some awesome mods and this is part 1:

Shrike Strike! I show off why the Lanius B is my favourite ship:

Yeah it's been a while since my last video. But well... I have to defend the Shrike's honour with video evidence.

Run inspired by this thread:

I've done two more ships by the modding community:

Mods are in the Mod section and also are in the description of the videos.

And now I've done a run with NarnKar's Abductor

Not a bad gimmick but does have some problems. But that's what gimmick ships are about, right?

It's time to Shrike! On hard difficulty, because yeah I can do that.

I've made many video between the last video I listed but this is my latest.
Oh and ignore the audio glitch at the start. Movie Maker wasn't co-operating and it took forever just to get the thing saved. I may have accidentally left old sound files in the process.

A run with the Red-Tail that hasn't been tainted by the Mantis swarms of Charlie Hive.

Yeah that audio glitch from my Shrike run came back to punish me when Mantis Charlies took over my channel. But I'm getting it back from them. Just gotta give me some time.

Katatonik did a run with the Carnelian on Hard difficulty.

Of course, I had a plan to make sure his run wouldn't go smoothly. But I'm sure it paid off nicely at the end.
