FTL lets play
I made a new youtube channel, and for my first video I decided to play FTL, since its my first video don't expect much. Some constructive criticism would be nice if you can spare some time to watch the video. Also the first 4 videos quality are a little blurry, but the 5th one is crystal clear if you can stick it out. Here is the link to first video hope you can spare the time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0Yl3k5ofR8

Re: FTL lets play
You said you wanted some comments and criticism, so here comes...
The pessimism was a bit off-putting at the start of the video. Even if you're not sure how things are going to go, try to be a bit more confident in yourself, because it's not a lot of fun listening to someone rag on themselves.
It sounds a bit like you're talking into a tube. You may want to check your mic settings to make sure your gain isn't set really high or low, and that nothing else is out of whack, because that shouldn't be too hard to fix.
If you can throw a bit more enthusiasm into your voice that would certainly help things, and similarly being able to record your videos at the full size of a youtube window at least would make the videos a bit more appealing at first glance.
While there's a lot of room for improvement, that's not to say the video was bad. You did a decent job of covering the basics for new players, and I wish you the best of luck with future efforts: one of the big things about recording for youtube is that you do get a lot better at it with practice! Keep at it, and good luck!
