Uh, not sure, make sure you're opening the .exe instead of the .application, if that doesnt work, try redownloading
Love FTL? Wish you could fly around in the USS Enterprise, the Tardis, or a ship that looks just like your own face? Check out FTLEdit, a ship editor for FTL, so you can create your own custom ships and play them!
Don't forget to share them too! :)

I was working on my first ship mod and two issues are happening:
1) Ship graphic is not lining up with the floor.
2) Rooms shift/disappear on me from when I export till when I load the ship again.
Any ideas how to fix this?

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box. [/SPOILERS]

I think this is broken or something

PLEASE HELP! I can;t find ANY good tutorials that tell me HOW TO SET THIS UP! The only tutorials I can find are HOW TO MOD, I don't want to mod, I just want to set this program up first! :evil:

False positive. FTLEdit is not a virus.

Maybe this is the problem:

System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Users\User\Desktop\FTL EDIT\data\data\blueprints.xml'.

I don't use this program but i'm pretty sure it needs to be installed alongside FTL, not on the desktop. But as i said, i dont use it, so i could be way off.

Hi, i downloaded this but when i finish making my custom ship, i try to press export to .ftl file (i have ggm) but it says Access to the path 'C:/Program Files/FTL/PLAYER_SHIP_EASY' is denied. when i export. Im trying to replace to the Krestel (the beginning one) and i don't want to close the program because i haven't saved it yet. :( EDIT 2: Where does it extract the .ftl file anyway?

This Program wasted a few days of my life. The Program will not Download or Install it gives me Virus Detected Errors. If I have to be a College Level Computer Programmer to compile the Source Code and build it than what is the point? I'll just wait for the 0.3 release this Program is a complete utter waste of time. Why can't someone just upload a Recompiled Version of it without the False Positives or whatnot. I disabled EVERYTHING on my computer and IE, even tried other browsers. This File is Infected with W32 Trojan Virus. It's not a Generic or Heur bs virus. It's a Legit Virus. Boa lies...I've worked with False Positive Viruses before! I don't trust it and I used the FTL Ship Editor somehow before. It wouldn't save my Ship layout and gave me a Virus Related Error Message. I'm pretty sure this File is Infected with a REAL virus.

Get over yourself. The report is false and that's that. Or else everyone who uses this tool is lying to you.
