Haven't Posted in a while XD On anything, been too busy playing Rebuild 3, love the game but back to FTL now.
I noticed you were talking about stations awhile back, and like spektor(I think) if you use modular stations you will basically have 4 different stations as one, the problem(if i understand this right) is that when you move between you'll go into space, then have to open a second door.
Added security maybe XD
Anyways love the game still, and would be cool if you could "land" on planets(When added, no rush) which basically takes you to another sector, but smaller and the background is a planet, it would basically be a large station.

Doesn't sound like much of a problem :)

This is almost how I had it planned(for much later though), only I thought that there would be no BG, but instead of empty squares - there would be ground squares with their own sprites. And ships would be playing the roles of buildings/planetary stations.

That sounds awesome XD, haven't played in a while though :/ pumped for update though :D , once that happens people won't just go around building infinite ships with overpowered weapons and shields :P Can't do anything when someone has 6 burst laser 3's

Meant to give this image in the last post forgot so here it is XD i think it was made by narnkar, don't know made a personal mod with it XD just a small ship with a bunch of missile weapons, bit buggy so i'm probably not gonna post it but if the image is able to be used(99% sure its player made) i think it would make a nice interceptor style ship

That is a nice looking ship.
But if I to use it in the default pack - we need to know the author and ask him.

Small update: :)
I've finished the shop system that sells other systems.
And I've almost finished the shop system that sells ships.

But I'm too tired to post the screens for them right now - I will post them once I'm done with the ships shop system. :oops:

Here's how the Systems shop looks like:
Here you can buy a new system or sell your cargo

And this is how the Ships shop looks like:
Here you can buy one of the premade ships that come with systems installed.

Before buying a ship you can check out the systems that it has installed by clicking on them.

Also here you can sell your own ship

Also in all shops, prices can vary in a range specefied in the Shop system model file.
