Next thing on the list is the money system.
Anyone has any suggestions on how to call it and what icon they should have?
Or do we just leave it as "Scrap"?

Also I think there was some suggestion from someone to make it so that you can buy new stuff(ships, systems) for money,
But upgrading requires SCRAP.

Last time I though it would be too hard to balance everything with 2 currency systems.
I still think it won't be easy - but perhaps there is sense in doing it like so?

P.S.
I'm so excited with the changes that will be in the next update. :mrgreen:
Upgradable systems, collecting scrap, rebalanced power requrements for systems, sector scanning for tracking ships, and more :mrgreen:

It should be called "Building materials". You build the ship, using it, you upgrade systems with it, and you repair ship with it. Icon is same as scrap.

Well in that case I will probably keep the name also.
It will be scrap(as scrap metal).

But I'm more interested in the name for the money currency - the one that you use to buy new stuff(new ships, new systems).
You will be able to by scrap for it also.

Right now my best option is - Credits.
But I still need a good icon for it.
And a new icon for scrap would be good also.

Idea for my idea: ships drop scrap/Building materials that you can trade in for money, you get money from quests.
When the battle is over all the scrap moves and dividez equally to all player ships.

Another idea: If you have an AI system you can get your ship to take the fastest route to a sector and make it defend itself, this would make my attacks on the imperatus empire much more interesting because their ships could defend themselves.
